Peace for DC, a District of Columbia community impact fund, commissioned NICJR to conduct an analysis of the cost of homicides and shootings in the District. The report examined the cost of gun violence in the District of Columbia, including costs to taxpayers.

Agency PerformanceThe Criminal Justice Coordinating Council is hosting a Public Meeting on Juvenile Supervision in the District. Speakers Terri Odom, Director of Family Court Social Services Division, and Sam Abed, Director of the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services will discuss current practices, challenges, and opportunities assosicated with supervising justice-involved youth in the District.
The meeting will be held both virtually and in person.
