On Thursday, April 25, 2019, the CJCC’s Annual Spring Public Meeting took place at Anacostia High School.  The meeting was geared towards a solution-oriented community conversation focused on reducing gun violence and its negative consequences on the District.

The program format included two components: a panel discussion moderated by Councilmember Trayon White (Ward 8), and a second part devoted to gathering in small groups and addressing tailored questions that enabled each group to develop and recommend priorities, programs, and solutions that should be applied to gun violence and homicides in the District.
