On August 27, 2025, the CJCC held a Public Meeting called “Drug Court: Eligibility, Programming, and Best Practices.” The meeting was held at the Deanwood Recreation Center and featured the presiding judge in Drug Court and Mental Health Community Court, a Drug Court graduate, as well as representatives from the United States Attorney’s Office; the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia; the Public Defender Service; and the Office of the Attorney General.
