CJCC Papering Reform

Chair:  Channing Phillips
United States Attorney for the District of Columbia

Papering Reform refers to the enhancement of the criminal case intake process (sometimes referred to as “screening” or “papering”).  The goal is to eliminate in-person papering in most cases, and streamline records-sharing and administrative processes by establishing electronic collection and dissemination of arrest and prosecution reports across the criminal justice system.
