Publicly Available Data on Crime and Justice in the District of Columbia

The Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grant Services in collaboration with the District’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and Justice Grants Administration held its  2013 Public Safety Grants Planning Forum at One Judiciary Square Friday, March 15th.  The forum focused on Federal and District competitive public safety grant opportunities and best practices used to prepare competitive grant proposals.   Panelist included Michael Zagury, MJZagury & Associations, LLC  “Making Dollars and Sense”; Sean Goliday and David Mazeika, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for the District of Columbia “Publicly Available Data on Crime and Justice in the District of Columbia Panelists”;  and Mary Abraham, District of Columbia Justice Grants Administration.  They shared lessons learned in applying for DOJ’s Second Chance Act and related grants, the District’s Justice Grant Administration FY2014 funding priorities, and evidence based grant funding requirements.
