Grants Information Resource Center
The Office of Partnerships and Grants Development (OPGD) Grants Information Resource Center (GIRC) assists District government agencies, nonprofits and faith-based organizations in obtaining information about resources that may improve the delivery and sustainability of community services in the District. The mission of the GIRC is to reach out to the many emerging nonprofits that either lack computer access or whose staff lack expertise in using technology to identify funding and capacity building information.
Through computer access to funding-research databases and the Internet, the Center helps strengthen the organizational leadership and management ability of local government and nonprofit officials.
Staff is available to provide guidance and customized assistance with online searches. The GIRC also has a small library of printed materials.
The GIRC is located in the OPGD office at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 1130 North, at the Judiciary Square Metro Station, 4th Street Exit. Access to the GIRC is free of charge but requires an appointment. Please call (202) 727-8900 to schedule a visit.
